Ethel Bouvet was a lovely old lady I knew in my youth. I was putting together a piece of work for art school on gardens and asked her if she had anything to say . "Well, What i think about gardens is this: that they're hard work" she said. This overgrown garden is not hers but i did feel it fitted her description perfectly.
