Exhibition: Devon
Devon is one of those places people visit year after year and eventually end up retiring there. I think I went there maybe once as a child in a rackety old Bedford van. The narrow roads so traumatised my mother that it was the one and only time we ventured so far away from our home county of Cheshire. In 2014 having lived in Maidenhead for twenty years, I decided I would allow myself an adventure so I put a pin in a map and ended up in the glorious South Hams buying the only house I could afford with a sea view. Here are some of the people and landscapes from my time there.
