]I painted this view before in acrylic later in the year's round. This is an early summer view and the land is soft and still a little green with new shoots. The medium of oil creates a different feel to the previous piece, particularly in the wide sky filled with watery cloud. I tried to capture the sun glinting off the golden weather vane on top of the church. During lockdown this was my daily walk out into the open fields.
