This painting does not truly belong in this year-2020. I moved in to my cottage during The Beast from the East The windmill through my bedroom window across my garden with its contorted hazel tree was one of the first paintings I made here. We are in the third lockdown now at the same time of year and the cold snaps at our heels and the virus at our minds.
